He nodded at Hiraki as he instructed him of the scenario. It sounded a bit intriguing to him. No holds barred, just a regular one on one fight, just as Rekkusu always wanted it. He watched as Hiraki took off into the woods and he gave it a moment before taking action. He knew the first thing of pursuing was tracking, and that part he had covered.
"Byakugan!" The blood vessels bulged around his eyes as his Byakugan was full activated. He could now see much further and almost immediately spotted Hiraki running through the trees. He knew the simple basics by now, so this part wouldn't be too much of a problem. He focused his chakra to his feet and took off through the trees in pursuit. He quickly grabbed some shuriken and held them in his hands while he ran, waiting to get in range and hopefully find a way to stop or slow him down.

Hikari ran through the trees, he could hear Rekkusu catching up to him. "Damn it" he whispered under his breath. He had been hoping for a little more time to think of how he was going to attack Rekkuse. What to do, he thought as he stopped on a branch. He reached into his pocket, he only had some kunai and some metal wire. That was going to do him no good, Rekkusu would be able to see the wire a mile away. Hikari jumped off the tree onto the forest floor. There was no use in running, it would just use up more of his energy and get him no where. A small smile covered Hikaris face as an idea came to him.
He knew that the Byakugan was good for seeing the chakra points in a person but that it didn't make the user any faster. If he could just move faster the Rekkuse in close combat fighting he might have a chance. Then he might be able to use the Byakugans blind spot. Hikari stepped out in the middle of a small path. He would just sit and wait for Rekkuse to catch up to him, then he would just have to prey that he was the faster ninja.

He immediately noticed Hikari stop up ahead. That could spell trouble for him he thought, cause it may mean he had something planned, like a trap. Though his Byakugan couldn't see anything suspicious, and it wasn't easy to hide something from the Byakugan. He just hoped that this fight would end up at close range, cause he knew that's where he stood the best chance. Gentle fist was useless unless face to face.
Rekkusu jumped down from the trees landing not far from Hikaru. Judging by Hikari standing there as he was, he assumed he'd get his wish. Now he just had to hope that his gentle fist could match up to whatever Hikari might have up his sleeve. He took his stance and watched Hikari's moves. He didn't know Hikari's style at and that would be a disadvantage, and on the other hand, the Hyuga fighting style was very well known.

Hikari watched as Rekkusu jumped out of the trees. He knows somethings up, Hikari thought as he watched his enemies movements. Hikari knew standing around would get them no where, but he was normally not the type to make the first move. Judging by the way Rekkusu was standing he was also the type that doesn't usually attack first. Making a hand signs Hikari started to fill his arm full of chakra. Now all I have to do is get to his blind spot. But thats easier said then done, Hikari thought as he reached into his pocket. Two kunai where pulled out. He would be careful not to aim to kill when he would use them.
He quickly ran up a side tree and looked down at Rekkusu. "You know you should just give up right now." He tossed the two kunai watching as the neared their target. He knew that they would more then likely miss. After all he was up against the Byakugan. That and he really didn't want them to hit their target, though he wouldn't complain if they did. After all they where more for a distraction then anything.

Rekkusu watched as Hikari weaved a few signs and then ran up the tree. For now he would be watchful and try to find his opportunity. Using taijutsu against ninjutsu could sometimes prove difficult, especially you haven't had the full training. Looking he saw two kunai coming down at him. He back flipped pulling a kunai of his own out deflecting one of the kunai that was nearest him. In the midst of the back flip he was able to release a shuriken in Hikari's direction in an attempt to hopefull throw his possible plan he may have had off.
After landing back on his feet he was quick to make sure he had a visual on Hikari. It wouldn't be hard, but there was still a small chance with his blind spot. As long as Hikari didn't manage to get in position there, then Rekkusu's chances would be much greater.

Hikari jumped of the tree as a kunai went flying at him. Not bad he thought as he landed on the ground. Hikari ran picking up one of the kunai that had fallen on the ground. He charged Rekkusu with the kunai in hand, he needed to get to that blind spot if he was going to have any chance to win. His right arm started to hurt as he got closer to Rekkusu, he winced. Holding this much chakra in one spot was taking its toll on his arm. If he was going to get into the blind spot he would have to do it fast. Running faster he was about in striking range of Rekkusu when he dodged around him. If he could move fast enough maybe he could doge around Rekkusu tell he was in the right spot to strike.

He quickly caught sight of Hikaru charging towards him with a kunai in hand. What really stuck out those what his chakra. It was built up primarily in his right arm. That would be his opportunity. Hikaru then dodge around him and Rekkusu followed as quickly as he could. Hikaru kept dodging around him, and Rekkusu continued to try and keep him in front of him. With only two fingers he went in for the attack. Aiming for the chakra nodes in Hikaru's right arm, he intended to open the nodes to cause the chakra to flow stronger there. He was very knowledgeable in the chakra system, and knew what happens with too much chakra in one spot.

Pain went up Hikaris right arm as Rekkusus attack had hit its mark. Hikaris right arm went numb from pain, he jumped back. His breathing became heavy from the pain, this kid could make a really good ninja one day. Hikari thought to himself, well to bad I can't use my right arm anymore. Hikari looked down at his arm and winced as he tried to move it. Well I guess I will have to use my left arm, the only thing is I am not a very good at building chakra in it. Hikari started to build up chakra in his left arm. He decided to use the last of his chakra to up his speed for this last attack. If he missed this time he would have to give up, he ran up to Rekkusu, faster then he had been before.
He knew this time he had to get behind him or he would never get to use his attack. His eyes focused on every move Rekkusu made. He would need to be sure to avoid his next attack.

Looking with his Byakugan he saw Hikari transfer chakra into his left arm now. This was his chance. If he were to do the same to his left arm, it would be over. However, Hikari's speed had picked up. It was like an animal being back into a corner, the adrenaline was taking over. It all appeared that it was about to come down to whoever made the hit first, he just had to make sure that was him.
He tried to keep up with Hikari's movements. He found an opening and went for the chakra nodes on Hikari's left arm, but just as he was about to make contact Hikari had already dodged around him again.

Hikari dodged Rekkusus attack, happy that he was able to move faster then him this time. He smiled this was his chance to make his move. Hikari moved behind Rekkusu, "One Thousand Years of Death." Hikari yelled as he preformed the jutsu, he knew that this jutsu was pointless and wouldn't really do anything to Rekkusu. This was the only move he had enough chakra for though. After he made this move he would have to give up. But at least he would of landed a hit on Rekkusu. Even if it was mostly for kicks and giggles, it wasn't that he didn't want to win. Its just that he knew from the moment his arm was hit that he had lost.

He heard the name of the jutsu yelled out and he quickly turned his head in fear. There was no way a name like that was supposed to be any good. Then the hit occurred. Rekkusu went flying through the air and landed a little ways away. He jumped to his feet running in circles for a moment, more in confusion and embarassment than pain.
He then stopped and quickly turned to Hikari, "What the hell kind of move is that?!"

Hikari fell on his butt laughing, "You should see your face." It was better then he was hoping for, Hikari got up still laughing. "Thats a move called the One Thousand Years of Death. Its quite the move isn't it, I learned it from my dad when I was little." Hikari still couldn't believe it had worked, he had hit a member of the Hyuga clan with on of the most pointless jutsus in the world. Hikari walked over to Rekkusu and stuck out his hand for him to shake. "Well you win Rekkusu, I am all out of chakra now. Good fight and all that jazz," Hikari still had a smile from ear to ear.

He raised an eyebrow at Hikari, "Well it most certaintly isn't my favorite jutsu I've ever experienced." He was then surprised at Hikari's next move as he approached and extended his arm and congratulated him saying he had won. He was sure that he had almost lost. He shook Hikari's hand. "Maybe this time, but I feel I may have gotten lucky. I suppose I may have some motivation to improve after all, and maybe next time I might be able to show you the Eight Trigrams form." He then laughed at the thought of it. The Eight Trigrams form was probably the most feared technique of the Hyuga clan, especially the 64 palms.

"Well just as long as you don't try it out on me." Hikari said as he rubbed his right arm witch was still very painful to move. "Well you sure did a number to my arm, but I guess this will be a good excuse to use to get me out of my next mission. It will give me some more down time and I am always ok with that. Hikari picked up his kunai that where thrown during the battle and put them back into his pocket. He was happy he had help motivate Rekkusu to become a better ninja. This had turned out to be a pretty fun day after all.
